Stone pelter mowed down by security forces’ vehicle in Srinagar
The stone throwing started in the old city area of Srinagar after the encounter ended in Chattabal area in which three militants were killed.

A video has surfaced showing a police vehicle swerving left and crushing a young Kashmiri stone-thrower under its wheels.
The incident took place in the morning in Noorbagh Chowk, less than a kilometer away from an encounter site in the Chattabal area where three Lashkar-e-Tayyaba militants were gunned down by security forces. Many schools have been closed and students sent home as a precautionary measure.
Authorities have suspended mobile Internet services in Srinagar district and also brought down the speed of fixed line broadband connections. Malik has been lodged in City’s Kothibagh police station after the police picked him up from his residence at nearby Maisuma.

Ghulam Hassan and his nephew, Bashir Ahmed were abducted from Shahgund village of Hajin area on Friday night. Police said at about 3:30 am, the terrorists shot both of them dead.
