Stoner: No intention of racing in 2016
In the end, Barbera finished in third spot with a time of 2’00.387, less than two tenths of a second behind Danilo Petrucci, who was fastest today in Malaysia. This time would go unbeaten.

It was a lacklustre 12th on Tuesday for Pedrosa, although he did improve on his Monday time. It was another Honda rider who rounded out the top five, Cal Crutchlow setting a 2’00.899 towards the end of the day on the harder option.
With the track temperature reaching 52 degrees Celsius, Lorenzo, chasing a fourth MotoGP world title, overcame the tough conditions to clock 2m00.684s, 1.033s quicker than his Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi, giving a strong start for Yamaha.
Petrucci was pleased with the day’s work. Andrea Iannone on another Ducati was fifth at 2m01.912s while Hector Barbera, also riding for Ducati, was sixth at 2m02.002s. Despite a short break when the session was red flagged due to a crash of Eugene Laverty, the nine-time World Champion was able to tick off most items listed on today’s testing schedule. The reigning world champion was.
A late charge from Bradley Smith saw the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 man pull himself into tenth, 0.314s clear of Maverick Viñales.
Andrea Dovizioso was down in 13th as he spent a majority of his day on the GP15, completing 40 laps.
