‘Stranger Things’ creators tease new characters and settings for season two
There’s no firm release date for the new season of Netflix’s hit show just yet, but Variety learned that season 2 will have nine episodes – which is one more than the first season had.
Okay, maybe I should slow down a bit.
“There are definitely a lot of cliffhanger-y threads at the end [of the season 1 finale]”, Matt said at the time. Or maybe I’m insane and everything will turn out fine.
“Stranger Things” will return in 2017 and will once again be helmed by creators and brothers Matt and Ross Duffer. Why 9 and not 10?
The show is perhaps the most successful evocation of the 1980s sci-fi horror genre we’ve seen, and has proved a great success for Netflix. Last Wednesday, Netflix announced the most awaited “Stranger Things” Season 2 which will be scheduled to air in 2017.
The brothers recently confirmed that they had a plan in place for series two – which would largely be inspired by the eerie events of season one.
To give you some ideas about what to expect on Season, Duffer brothers shared some details with Entertainment Weekly. However, as series creators Matt and Ross Duffer revealed to Entertainment Weekly, Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) return now remains “up in the air”.
Stranger Things is returning for a second season on Netflix.
These titles leave us wondering what odd occurrences will happen next, although we can probably expect to see how Will is coping now that he has returned from the Upside Down. That said, we wouldn’t bet against her!
Season 2 will also take you to the upside down world and some characters will return. In fact, we’ve already compiled a list of 60 questions the show needs to answer. We’ll also get to explore the Upside Down a little bit more. We want to make sure it’s manageable and we want to be able to tell a movie-like story where it’s never treading water.
