Strictly Come Dancing 2016 cast: BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty CONFIRMED!
Daisy Lowe will be hoping for a picture-perfect finish as she was confirmed as one of the celebrities signed up to appear in Strictly Come Dancing.
Ed Balls, Daisy Lowe, Danny Mac, Melvin Odoom, Louise Redknapp, Ore Oduba, Laura Whitmore and Will Young are the other confirmed celebrities.
Munchetty admitted she is “petrified” at taking on Strictly.
She’s trying her luck on the dancefloor in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking to Grazia recently, Daisy said: “I$3 Probably [regret] my completely nude Playboy picture”.
“I’m going to give it my very best and enjoy what’s bound to be a great adventure”, she continued. “It’s a brilliant show and it’s lots of fun”.
She joined the BBC in 2008 presenting Working Lunch, on the BBC News Channel and BBC World News.
She is also a keen golfer, playing the sport up to five times a week.
The launch show for the new series will happen on an as-yet-unconfirmed date in September.
Munchetty will follow in the footsteps of Bill Turnbull, Chris Hollins, Susanna Reid and Carol Kirkwood.
“I’ve known Chris Hollins and will never forget his wonderful Charleston”, Munchetty said.
Speaking to The Sun Online, he said: “I’m as terrified as I am excited! Then there’s Carol. She completely embraced it”.
Daisy also bared herself fully in a shoot for I.D magazine when she was just 18 years old.
“I’d really like Karen – she’s a pocket rocket, full of fire, and I think she’d be able to whip me into shape”.
