Strictly Come Dancing: Judge Rinder to quickstep onto the Strictly dancefloor!
It has been confirmed that Professional Barrister and TV Personality, Robert Rinder – otherwise known as Judge Rinder to you and I – will be quickstepping onto the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor this autumn.
“This is something I’ve never done, I’ve never danced a step in my life”, he tells Alex and Patrick.
“Strictly is an iconic show and I have always loved the glamour and the dedication and the entertainment, and this year it suddenly seemed right to take part”, Joseph said.
Strictly Come Dancing returns September 3 on BBC One.
The star said it wasn’t her first record label that made her do it, but she still went along with it for years until she moved to another label.
Fans of the show can follow Daisy over on her Twitter page, where she said she is sick with nerves but completely excited to get on the dance floor. “Doing this is definitely a long jump from my day job for sure!”
“It’s the only programme, or only moment in the world, that anyone uttered the phrase “I just want to get to Blackpool”.
Earlier tonight, Olympian Greg Rutherford, Birds of a Feather actress Lesley Joseph and Eastenders star Tameka Empson were confirmed as the final three contestants.
Singers Louise Redknapp and Will Young, presenters Ore Oduba and Laura Whitmore; gymnast Claudia Fragapane and “Judge” Robert Rinder have also been announced. No doubt the judges will be as fair, kind and thoughtful as me (especially the charming Craig Revel Horwood). One of the celebrities will win the coveted Strictly glitterball, and take the crown from current victor Jay McGuiness. Who are you rooting for this year?
