Student wounded in Arizona campus shooting out of hospital
According to the Northern Arizona University Police Department, the four victims included one dead, and three wounded. The information I have seen on social media is that Nick was shot in the neck and is now in the hospital receiving the necessary care for his injuries.
The NAU president also made a statement following the shooting.

Despite defense attorney Burges McCowan’s request that Jones be released to his parents in Glendale, Arizona, a judge ordered him held on a $2 million bond.
And earlier this week, Eastern Kentucky University canceled classes and shifted a home football game to another campus after officials discovered graffiti on Monday that threatened to “Kill All By 10/8/15”. One student, Colin Brough, a freshmen and from Colorado, died. And he called Brough’s death “just a waste”.
Arizona law forbids firearms from being carried on campus, but the school are allowed inside of a vehicle that is locked. He said a fight ensued and he was punched in the face.
“He was probably the most kind, most generous guy I ever met”, she said. Another photo, from more than two years ago, showed Jones posing with a submachine gun.
It’s still unclear what propelled Jones to open fire at the early Friday morning fraternity party.
Mr Jones told police he was approached by a group of men and assaulted. Witnesses told authorities the casualties were unarmed.
NAU plays a major role in the northern Arizona city of Flagstaff. The shooting incident occurred in a vehicle park near a residence hall for the Greek fraternities and sororities around 1.20am, a university spokeswoman said. It’s not clear when the third Delta Chi brother was shot.
“There’s a distinction, of course, between someone who just sets out to kill a large number of people and shootings that come out of altercations, which unfortunately do happen pretty regularly”, said S. Daniel Carter of the VTV Family Outreach Foundation, which was created by families of victims of the 2007 massacre at Virginia Tech.

Jernegan says he and Brough were close growing up and reunited during a chance meeting in Las Vegas in June.
Jernegan says now he keeps thinking how lucky he was to spend those days with him.

On its website, the university said that the campus was stabilized and wasn’t on lockdown.
A shooter was quickly taken into custody. That initial message was inadvertently sent to only certain groups instead of the entire list.
Both university and Flagstaff police are investigating.
Emergency medical personnel were on the scene a 1:33 a.m.

Nine others were injured in the deadliest shooting in Oregon’s history. A crisis team has been activated to provide any support for students and staff. According to Barker, the defendant got into a verbal confrontation with members of a rival fraternity that escalated to a physical fight.
“On principle, I find that I am in disagreement with his policies on gun control, and therefore, we (the family) will not be attending the visit”, Stacy Boylan told Fox News.
Police say the shooting erupted in a confrontation between two student groups.
“My understanding was that Steven did not feel comfortable going to college without his gun”, he said.
Representative Ann Kirkpatrick, who lives in Flagstaff, expressed confidence that the city “will only grow stronger in hard moments like these”.
He also worked as a lifeguard at a Flagstaff recreation center. The university has about 9,700 enrolled students.
Several frantic people called 911 to report the shooting, a few looking down onto a parking lot from their dorm windows and seeing people with gunshot wounds. The suspected shooter is in custody.
