Students celebrate Mardi Gras in downtown Wilmington
If you want to check out the trees we showed you today, you can do so by heading down to St Charles between Felicity and Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
Mardi Gras in New Orleans is a place for new friendships to form, and on the streets during parades this weekend, one United States Customs and Border Patrol agent bonded with student musician.
“I think with the drink specials and live dj we’ll have a good turn out, ‘ said bartender Dylan Duggan”.
After a quick prayer, the marching begins.
Police have identified a 15-year-old as the victim in a shooting at a Popeyes Chicken in Downtown Mobile as the 2016 Mardi Gras celebrations came to a close February 9. “You just have to look cool”, she said.
Mardi Gras is officially over and many of you may be faced with the dilemma of what to do with the bags of beads and throws that might get thrown away or stored in the attic. This was the 18th meeting of the two parade krewes at Rivertown for Lundi Gras. The Mardi Gras Indian tribes are another tradition in the city.
It happened in the area of Conti and Scott streets, near or at the Popeyes Louisiana Chicken Restaurant that fronts at 750 Government St.
A total of 59 krewes rolled Tuesday night, but Moss said it seemed shorter because “we were more in tune, we were able fix our little things that we work on from year to year, so everything seemed to run a lot smoother”.
Despite Mardi Gras’ reputation as being a raucous, adults-only party, much of the celebration is actually family-friendly.
