Subaru teases Impreza Sedan Concept ahead of LA Auto Show
Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that the new Impreza Sedan Concept will make its global debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Subaru has released a shady teaser image for its Impreza sedan concept, which will be unveiled at the L.A. Auto Show next week.
Although the Impreza sedan concept isn’t likely to go into production as is, it is expected to inspire the next-generation model expected in the next 1-2 years. Meanwhile the roofline takes a slightly downward angle toward the concept’s front, where what appear to be LED surrounds highlight the sinister-looking headlights.
The four-door Impreza concept will borrow most of the styling ques from the future hot-hatch, but deliver them in a more mature sedan package. The newest Impreza will be revealed on November 18 at the press day.
The 2017 Impreza will also usher in a new family of flat-four engines fitted with efficiency-boosting tech features such as direct fuel-injection and cylinder deactivation. Staying true to tradition, all models will come standard with the next evolution of Subaru’s time-tested all-wheel drive system.
