Sunny For Sunday, Rain By Monday Night
While we could see a few strong storms, this system is great news for the drought.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. A few showers will be possible Sunday night into Monday morning. Tonight Clearing skies, Low 29 Monday.
Sunnier and drier conditions are in the forecast starting Tuesday, when the Santa Ana winds are expected to blow through, the weather service reported. Low temperatures only getting down to 54 degrees but the winds will stay gusty from the south 15-20 miles per hour. The precipitation will turn to all rain after 10 a.m. We are seeing some lake effect showers this morning and our temperatures are playing a major role in the type of precipitation you see. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Keep that umbrella handy, because the Twin Cities doesn’t even have a chance at seeing snow until Thursday.
Sunday will be Sunny and Mild. High: 36 STILLAHEAD ON NBC5 NEWS is already on the Radar. Well, they could easily blow smoke into parts of our area on Monday (before Tuesday and Wednesday’s rain).
Two systems, the one that brought the rain located to our northwest and another one to our southeast, will continue to spin clouds into the area.
