Super Bowl Odds to Win – Patriots Open as Favorites
That ranks 13th among the NFL’s 32 teams although seven other teams are also listed at 33-1. The good news is that the Colts still have an entire offseason ahead of them in which they can improve, and if they do that, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see their Super Bowl 51 odds improve either. Spoiler alert: the Bears weren’t one of them. According to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook odds released Sunday night after the Broncos’ victory, the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers are co-favorites, at 8-1 odds, to get to the next Super Bowl on February 5, 2017 at NRG Stadium (formerly Reliant Stadium) in Houston. The aforementioned Panthers have the next best odds at 10/1, although they share those odds with the Seahawks and Steelers, respectively. The Cleveland Browns are the biggest long-shots at 200/1.
The Browns, who finished 3-13, only have two seasons above.
Bovada, a popular online sportsbook, also listed the Bears as 40/1 odds to win next year’s top National Football League prize.
The Detroit Lions are 50-for-50 in missing the Super Bowl.
The favorites to win the next Super Bowl are not the ones who won the last Super Bowl. The Green Bay Packers (12-1) are the fifth choice to win the title.
