Super Mar-io marks 30 years of games

Created by Samir Al Mufti, a pseudonym for a Syrian man based in Istanbul Turkey, Refugee Mario uses the video game’s architecture to tell the story of what it’s like for Syrian refugees to make the risky journey to Europe.

Players can also share courses with friends, family and other Wii U owners across the world. They will be provided with all the items needed to create a unique full game resembling the Super Mario usual challenges.
