SNES classic Super Mario RPG will get a re-release this week on Wii U, Nintendo has announced.
That will launch December 22nd, but even more interesting is that the game will getting new features in the form of an update.
Once players unlock it by completing the level, they can add the GLA to their collection of “Mario-Costumes” in the game.
The “Super Mario Maker Bookmark” resembles a search engine, which is intended for the game.
As the Christmas season continues to brew in the hearts of gamers who have known “Super Mario” for the longest time, Nintendo is about to release a new Super Mario Maker Bookmark for Wii U update that offers a whole bunch of options and upgrades fit for the gift-giving season.
Bumper: This bouncy donut-shaped object sends Mario bounding away when touched. These include sorting by difficulty, course theme, what game style the course is, and more. The free update is now available and will deliver a new set of never before seen items to use as you create courses.
“World Record (fastest player to clear the course)” and the “First Clear (first player to clear the course)” will be listed for each course. You can also search using a selection of tags, making it easier to find courses that fall into a specific category such as automatic, puzzle or music. It’s ideal for creating shoot-em-up-style courses. More than 260 million Blocks have been placed – enough to build the Great Pyramid of Giza about 11 times – and if each of the 313 million-plus Coins (as of 27 November 2015) were the size of a $1 coin, they could make 107 Mount Everest-sized stacks.
Add linkage with the Super Mario Maker Bookmark portal site that will allow a more detailed course search.
