Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and Legends Of Tomorrow: new image teases crossover

Even “Arrow” Season 2 actor Stephen Amell can’t wait to see all the DC shows to come together.

The Arrow star posted a picture, without any caption, of his co-stars feet. While clearly Amell was dressed up as Oliver Queen along the likes of Caity Lotz (Sara Lance), Melissa Benoist (Kara Danvers), Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), and Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer), we don’t think this is exactly as easy as the group all filming a crossover episode right now. Stephen Amell posted an awesome Instagram photo on August 7 that teased the epic crossover event featuring four of the network’s biggest shows.

Despite the fact that a crossover already occurred last season, The CW’s new addition Supergirl is set in a different universe than the network’s other DC fare Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. We know that all of those people will appear in the crossover, then. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and Gideon (voiced by Amy Pemberton) need to meet up and work together. Just give us one little “Glee”-like dream sequence!” The fact that Supergirl now exists in another universe might have made things a little inconvenient, but a new rumor claims that the upcoming Flashpoint storyline will change all of that.

So, what are the odds this is actually going to happen? All shows will return to the CW in October. The CW’s main superhero wrangler, Greg Berlanti, later told EW, “I’m going to probably try to have one unifying threat, as opposed to different things on different ones, which is what the first year was”.
