‘Supernatural’ Season 11: Will Rowena Kill The Winchesters? Ruth Connell
Spoilers have it that when The CW’s long running series “Supernatural” returns after its mid-season finale for season 11, viewers will get the answers to the questions revealed during the latest cliffhanger episode. I can’t say that I ever imagined an episode where I would not only get Lucifer back, but I’d also get an equally captivating, even more powerful villain in addition to him.
According to news reports by Carter Matt, Amara was heard crying for attention and Sam was shown learning some sad news about his recent message from God. However, Padalecki teased that the show chose to get right to The Darkness’ storyline in the mid-season finale episode. It is still unclear what help she is needed for but most likely it has something to do with Amara, whom the brothers want to get rid of at all cost. That’s when the Darkness realizes no one has actually seen God. Will they succeed in defeating Darkness?
Crowley says it’s possible to enter into Lucifer’s cage but they need the Book of the Damned and a witch’s help. (The willingness of people to believe what they can’t see amazes her.) So instead of setting up a lunch date with her long-lost brother, she kills everyone in the church by eating their souls.
Speaking of what is next for Sam and Dean Winchester, it seems the network has chose to shroud that in mystery and instead largely focuses the promo video on supporting characters, which is in no way a bad thing.
Just like that, Rowena finds herself getting caught up on the goings-on of the world, and Crowley promises to call off his assassins if she agrees to open the cage and protect Sam once it’s open.
Now Sam is trapped in Lucifer’s cage with the devil himself.
‘Supernatural” Season 11: Jared Padalecki Teases Midseason “Twists & Turns’, What To Do About Lucifer?
Speaking about the fall finale episode he said, “Episodes 9 (the fall finale) and 10 are my favorite episodes of Supernatural in a long, long time”. Given the events of last night’s episode and what we know now, it looks like she will play a more vital role going forward.
