Supporters gather for ‘March 4 Trump’ rallies across US
Numerous rallies drew only a few hundred people, much smaller than the President’s inauguration day rally, and anti-trump rallies that followed. One of the speakers, state Sen. A self-described person of color and homosexual, he said Trump had brought him to Berkeley. “Why? Because we’re all Americans”.
They’re called Spirit of America rallies.
Linda Clanahan prays before the beginning of a rally outside the Missouri state capitol building on Saturday. Some wore ties and slacks. “We’ve got to get the whole country united behind this man”, said Richard Brozell, 75, who attended a rally with his wife, braving frigid temperatures that dipped into the mid-20s as well as a frigid wind chill in a bid to support the president.
“They are going to push us to retaliate”.

A contingent of Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers watched from nearby, but the arguments did not escalate.
At Trump Tower, a couple hundred supporters gathered and chanted “U-S-A” and held signs with messages such as: “Yes he is our president”.
“I’m concerned with his Cabinet positions and their connections with Russian Federation and Putin”, said Harper. His nephew Patrick Harlan opposed U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-Moline, in Illinois’ 17th Congressional district in the last election.
For the most part, however, the demonstrations have been peaceful – and in Austin, at least, charitable as well.
“Every attempt was made to intercede during acts of violence or rapidly identify victims and suspects”, the statement read.
