`Supportive` Matt Damon says nobody is more misunderstood than `bestie` Ben

While Ben ended his engagement to Lopez in January 2004 and went on to marry Jennifer Garner, whom he announced his split from in July after 10 years of marriage, Matt says it was “really painful” to watch him “cast as this person that he wasn’t” when he was still with the “Booty” hitmaker.

Christine Ouzounian is planning to appear on English reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” further spicing up the issue.

“There’s nobody who’s more misunderstood”, Damon said of Affleck. Ten years ago, the public image could not have been farther apart from who he actually is.

Damon, 44, doesn’t address his Project Greenlight partner’s recent spilt with Garner nor the cheating allegations surrounding their break up.

“The Martian” star added that it was really painful for him to see his childhood buddy in a situation where he was just considered Lopez’s boyfriend.

Damon’s latest film is The Martian, which opens on Friday.

Victor: Affleck collected a Best Picture Oscar for his 2012 film Argo that he wrote, directed and starred in. From winning an Oscar together for writing Good Will Hunting, which they also co-starred in, to co-producing the filmmaking docu-series Project Greenlight, the two have been inseparable for years. “And on a philanthropic level, they’re both very, very committed”.

Recently they were spotted out lunching with a few friends together and have been making frequent visits to the farmer’s market with their three little ones.

‘I heard once, you spend all of this time trying to protect your heart, and then you have kids, and it’s like you put it in their bodies and send them out into the world, and you can’t possibly know everything that comes with that, ‘ he explained.
