Surface Pro 4, Surface BooK: Microsoft Could Face Shortage of Surface Devices

While we don’t know if the ones who are complaining let streaming websites on when their tablets were put to sleep, we’re sure taking care of running programmes before you put your device to sleep will always help the battery.
Apple released a the new iPad Pro on November 11.
In recent years, that question for many turned into a statement: “I need a tablet”.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has taken the online sales crown from Apple Inc.
So, what about Microsoft? Windows focussed site WinBeta got early access to a report by Ecom Insights, which observes that Microsoft achieved number one spot in U.S. tablet sales in October. Well, according to research firm 1010data, it appears that the company is doing very well with its Surface line, despite the fact that unlike Android, it’s not an affordable option. Fast-forward to October, and the numbers dramatically change.
Apparently Microsoft has been making steady progress in tablet market share but saw a huge spike in October with the release of the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. There are a few factors that have been in favor of Microsoft. While Amazon’s average sell price was $150, Apple’s was $392.
The 3D printable Surface Pro 3 Docking Station Adapter files (available here) are available in.STL and.STP formats in order to be compatible with a range of slicing programs-the only requirement on the user-end (aside from owning a 3D printer in the first place) is that their 3D printer model has a build size of at least 10.3 x 100.8 x 285.4 mm. It’s saddening to see that such an expensive device doesn’t even come with the latest set of drivers and this is a major downside for Microsoft this year, considering that the Surface Pro 3 had far less issues at hand. That was precisely the case for buyers of Microsoft’s new Surface Pro 4: the slimmer version of the tablet doesn’t fit snuggly inside the Pro 3 dock, yet consumers were unhappy with the idea of shelling out more cash for yet another Microsoft product.
