Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance
Andrew worries because he has just secured himself as a strong contender where he is.
Four of the original Bayon members – Jeremy, Kimmi, Monica, and Fish – remain on Bayon, where they are joined by former Ta Keo members Spencer and Wigglesworth.
The tribes will split into three tribes.
As soon as the tribes got to what they thought would be a reward challenge, Jeff surprised them with a twist – “Drop your buffs”. They are relieved to have flint. Kelley though, was hedging her bets a bit more, and even though we know she has found a hidden Idol, she begins spreading rumors that Terry did a lot of searching for the Idol back at her old camp, firmly throwing him under the bus in the eyes of her new tribe mates.
Ciera feels that they have the numbers and will be just fine, especially since they ended up with a strong team. The general sense at the new Bayon and Ta Keo tribes was one of happiness: The majorities were happy to be in the majority, and even Terry – now in the minority of his new tribe – was not letting the tribe swap get him down. Jeremy decides he likes Spencer. He later tells the camera that Andrew and Tasha are on the bottom, and his alliance can pick them off any time they want. Let’s be clear that we still question the move on Tasha’s part publicly, mostly because you do make yourself suddenly a known target when you were so under radar; yet, don’t you have to consider her night’s MVP?
Jeremy heads out to search for the idol, and Stephen and Monica go on a search as well. It tells him that the idol is in one of the boxes they will use in the next challenge. All four of them go out looking separately, but it’s Jeremy who happens upon the clue alone.
The Takeo tribe got to know each other. Then they will repeat that until they have unlocked each chest, and gather up the chests. Then they must rebuild the cart, load the chests and move it through additional obstacles. Well, not exactly. Instead they were drawing straws to break into three new tribes. This is the very first challenge in Brains vs Brawn vs Beauty. This means that the two tribes of nine will now become three tribes of six.
This week’s immunity challenge involved pushing a cart through an obstacle course, finding a key in a chest, taking the cart apart and putting it back together to form a puzzle. The losing tribe? Tribal Council.
The Angkor tribe ultimately lost the immunity challenge and Tasha called out Jeff for being a “rat”. Jeff Probst intervenes and Woo feels like he is just getting new information. “Good to hear that both tribes are happy with the way things are going”, Probst says. “I’m in the middle of a big ole’ mess, and i got to figure out a way to get out of it”, Varner tells us.
The new Angkor tribe may be thoroughly screwed on “Survivor”. Savage says that Jeff is not pulling his weight and sleeping all day and if they would trust him. “Well played guys”, Peih-Gee said before turning and telling Woo “good luck”.
Back at Anghor, Tasha was selling Abi on breaking up the former Ta Keo foursome in exchange for a guarantee that she could bring them into the majority of former Bayon members.
At the new camp, Abi, Peih-Gee, Woo and Jeff talk about playing smart and not doing something stupid. Jeff points out that this was the first challenge on Cagayan, where Kass, Tasha and Spencer’s Luzan tribe completely blew it. For two of them, this will be redemption, and for one of them, it will be history repeating itself. He says that he was saying something personal to someone he cares about and Tasha jumped on him and he actually says that it was an emotional breakdown after building a new camp and competing. Now, Jeff is stuck in the middle of a bad situation and I think that he might end up being the person voted off tonight. It set off a chain of events that would eventually lead to Abi-Maria and Peih-Gee campaigning to vote each other out. He also claims he doesn’t recall his meltdown at all, which is a really odd response, but okay.
