Suspect charged with killing Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter
Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in New York, the US media reported on Sunday.
A witness who saw the stabbing from his window said he heard screams from the actress as Davenport said he needed to “get the demons out”. “In the name of Jesus Christ, I cast you out!” as he attacked Hines. I cast you out, devils!
In a statement to Gossip Cop, The Shawshank Redemption star writes, “The world will never know her artistry in talent, and how much she had to offer”. Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts. Hines had studied acting and was involved with teaching urban youth.
Miss Hines was the granddaughter of Mr Freeman’s first spouse, Jeannette Adair Bradshaw, whom he divorced in 1979 after 12 years of marriage.

He was brought in as an “emotionally disturbed person” early Sunday morning after he was seen stabbing Hines to death near her home in the Washington Heights area of New York. Police sources told the Daily Beast that he’d been held for a day for psychiatric evaluation. They added he has six past arrests for crimes including marijuana possession and petty larceny.
E’Dena Hines, 33, had been out with Lamar Davenport and pals the evening before the horror. “Might she relaxation in peace”. Davenport has two prior arrests. “I called 911 – I was begging them to come”.
