Suspect in fatal NYC shooting is arrested in Rhode Island
Hospital staff recognized him as one of the two men wanted in the Midtown shooting and called police.
“My department assisted USA marshals from Rhode Island and NY City and the Rhode Island State Police in the apprehension of a suspect in our city around 10 p.m. on Thursday”, said Colonel Michael Winquist of the Cranston Police Department.
Alsina was tracked down through his cell phone and finally located at a relative’s house, ABC 7 News reports.
Alsina will be charged for possession of a firearm in Rhode Island, but additional charges are pending, police said.
They recovered a silver.
They say the 23-year-old Alsina will be arraigned Friday.
Alsina is believed to have fired the shots at a Penn Station subway entrance Monday morning.

The first suspect, Vincent Arcona, 27, was arrested after police said he checked himself into a Bronx hospital overnight Wednesday.
