Suspects in Calif. yoga teacher’s death, tied to 2nd killing

Police described the suspects as drifters who were wandering through the region and said none of the three have a known address.

On Wednesday afternoon, with the help of unspecified Global Positioning System technology, investigators tracked Carter’s stolen vehicle to Portland, where they swooped in and arrested the three suspects outside a dining hall.
Investigators are trying to piece together how the trio and the homicide victims met up. Carey, 23, was on a solo backpacking trip and apparently was attending the annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in the park’s Hellman Hollow and Marx and Lindley meadows when she was killed.
