SW Florida weather: Warm and dry start to weekend
Overview: The temperatures swings will continue this week, with milder temperatures through Wednesday, and colder temperatures returning Thursday into the weekend. Sea waves are low. By Wednesday AM we have a chance for isolated showers, mainly for counties east of the Illinois River.
That colder air will be with us on Friday and Saturday. Chance of precipitation is 60%. West southwest wind 11 to 14 miles per hour. The overnight low is expected to be near 17. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday: Rain likely after 10 a.m. Cloudy with a high near 50.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Overnight low temperatures will remain chilly with mostly cloudy skies and a low temperature of 40 degrees.
