‘Sword Art Online: Lost Song’ New Trailer Features Character Creation
The fourth and newest installment of the Sword Art Online main console series was revealed recently, and producer Yosuke Futami and other key developers shared the latest on Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization in an interview in this week’s Dengeki PlayStation. It is slated for 2016 release in Japan according to a report from Gematsu.
While it may feel like the earlierSword Art Online’s Aincrad, the game actually takes place in a different world.
Along with the game a Special Edition PS4 was also announced themed around Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. Now, in this virtual reality MMORPG, lead character Kirito receives a single message which is still a mystery to find out.
The popular anime series Sword Art Online is getting an movie adaptation, A-1 Pictures revealed at the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival this weekend. Gamers will have the liberty to play as Kirito once more, but unlike previous games gamers can also control other characters such as Asuna, Sinon, Leafa, Klein etc. There are also new faces in “SAO: Lost Song” like Sumeragi, Seven and Rain. The said game is available for both Android and iOS formats.
According to Futami, the game development began with the concept of Kirito beginning at Level 1 when the beta testers were at the early stages of the Sword Art Online game before its was released.
“Sword Art Online: Lost Song” will launch on Nov. 13 in Europe and Nov. 17 in the United States for the PS4 and PS Vita. Priced at 42,980 yen ($357.60), pre-orders will be accepted starting October 5 at 11:00 AM JPT.
