Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud “welcomed the achieved agreements and expressed readiness for mutual work with Russian Federation to realise them”, the Kremlin said in the statement.

Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov made the request in a statement released on Wednesday.
He said cease-fire declarations already have been signed by the government and opposition representatives in several areas in the provinces of Homs and Latakia.
The agreement, engineered by the USA and Russian Federation, is set to take effect at midnight Friday local time. “We want to say frankly that these voices are a call for war rather than for peace”. He said the opposition will not stop fighting if Assad does not leave office.
“The Americans are taking note of our concerns and we are waiting for their replies”, Al Meslet said.
The rebels’ main regional backers, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, are distracted with their own internal troubles.

The YPG is an important partner in the U.S-led coalition fighting Islamic State in Syria, but has also been fighting Syrian insurgent groups in northwestern Syria near Aleppo, and is considered an enemy by North Atlantic Treaty Organisation member Turkey.
A recent attack destroyed the main land route to the city, and there are reports the nearby town of Khanaser has fallen to IS.
