Tables, Ladders & Chairs Tonight; WrestleNewz With Full Coverage — WWE TLC
So we might just be lined up yet another exciting build up. It’s a night that will see all the titles of blue brand on the line.
WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs would be home to Heath Slater & Rhyno’s toughest test to date as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions as, after American Alpha outlasted The Usos, The Ascension, The Vaudevillains, The Hype Bros, and Breezango in Tag Team Turmoil a couple of weeks ago, the former NXT Tag Team Champions would be confronted by The Wyatt Family as Bray Wyatt revealed his intentions for he and Randy Orton to be the #1 Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. A shoulder lets Slater come in and Orton gets neckbreakered for two. Since then, he’s been a loyal member of The Wyatt Family, tagging with Bray in the Smackdown vs. That’s a faux pas that Chad Gable made following a backstage altercation with Tyler Breeze, resulting in the two engaging in some singles action.
Slater and Rhyno are challenging. Carmella accused Natalya of being the person to attack Nikki Bella at Survivor Series, and Natalya wasn’t waiting around.
After suffering three months of beat downs by Carmella, Nikki finally got her revenge. However, I would have to call this match itself a disappointment. I’m guessing the latter will happen but Miz will still retain. She attacks Carmella and chases her to the back.
Elsewhere, The Miz retained the Intercontinental Championship following a high-octane Ladder Match with long-time nemesis Dolph Ziggler. Take Corbin. MATTHEW BYER: I’ll go with Kalisto coming out the victor on this night. That’s how you tell a story that benefits not only the teams involved, but all those waiting in the wings as well. The match itself is great; not quite the heights of any of the Ziggler-Miz matches, but a solid back-and-forth battle. WWE’s flip-flopping of their mid-card titles seems to be a common theme lately, as for a while they were very disciplined regarding this.
Who’s next for The Miz? The Miz eventually chose to focus on Ziggler’s knees in an attempt to limit his ability to climb the ladder.

There is an angle awaiting for Flair, especially since the last we saw of him was when his daughter essentially cut ties with him. I mean, the champs got in a little bit of offense there, but this essentially turned into a squash match, didn’t it? Baron Corbin defeated Kalisto in their match up.
Tables, Ladders & Chairs was full of surprising wins, exciting twists and most of all, great matches. Anyway, whole different issue. However, I feel this match at TLC will be the blow off for their feud as they have feuded on and off since September.
Another chance for Kalisto came to settle the scores when he was put against Baron Corbin. Kalisto goes to the top rope and connects with a moonsault on Corbin on the outside.
In other game, Alexa Bliss won her first title in WWE by beating Becky Lynch in a Tables Match. I’m interested to see where they go with her and Becky from this point, the post match interview with Becky showed how disappointed she was, and really seemed like it was nearly just hitting rock bottom for her.
This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown aired live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan later revealed that Ellsworth will face Styles for the WWE World Championship on Smackdown on Tuesday night, a bout he earned by besting Styles in Ladder Match in November.
Renee Young adds that AJ Styles also put on a show because of the hole in his trousers. If they didn’t pull the trigger on Ellsworth turning now, he would have definitely lost all of the steam he’s gained soon. However, that was not the case. Orton has also held the WWE Championship eight times (eighth reign was as WWE World Heavyweight Champion) and WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship four times, and was the final holder of the World Heavyweight Championship, which he unified with the WWE Championship to become the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Sure, it makes nearly zero sense for a father to be upset that his daughter accomplished her dreams without his help, but for the sake of story purposes this can be Daddy Flair being distraught at what distance has been created between him and his daughter. He’s delusional, obviously, but I think this should actually make for some entertainment.
AJ Styles, being the champ that he is, tried to shake off the pain which was visibly seen during the match.
All in all, damn good PPV. “He’s the whole damn show”.
