A professional hunter in Zimbabwe has been charged with breaching hunting rules in connection with the hunt. On social media about a dozen people have said they will protest Dr. Palmer’s return.

Palmer disagrees, according to CNN, “I’ve been out of the public eye seeing family and friends”, he said.

Dr. Palmer and Associates has reopened in Minnesota, almost a month after closing in the wake of protests over Cecil the lion’s death.
