The peer, a former Conservative party treasurer and donor, has written a biography, Call Me Dave, that includes tales of excesses during the Prime Minister’s university days.
A spokeswoman for the prime minister said she did “not see the need to dignify the book by offering any comment”, but a Conservative Party source said Mr. Cameron did not recognise any of the allegations.
The 29-year-old filed the suit in 2014 after a guest on host Sean Hannity’s show called Lindsay’s mother Dina an enabler and suggested that the pair took cocaine together.
Essentially, a judge argued that the “truth is a defense”, a major blow (see what we did there?!) to the actress. Back in 2012, Lindsay made a phone call claiming her mother kidnapped her, saying, “Dad, she’s on cocaine“.
