Chelsea looked a different proposition in attack as they picked up a much-needed win against West Brom at The Hawthorns on Sunday, with Pedro starring on his debut having only completed his move from Barcelona earlier in the week.

That seemed to give West Brom hope of salvaging something from the game, but Casar Azpilicueta popped up with a goal late in the first-half to give the home side a mountain to climb.

A sloppy spell of Chelsea possession presented the hosts with a way back into the game as Rondon acrobatically turned James McClean’s deep cross into the path of Morrison to lash a shot past Courtois.

He pulled a goal back for West Brom after goals from Pedro and Costa, and he headed in to make it 3-2 shortly after Terry was dismissed, perhaps harshly, after the defender prevented Rondon from racing through on goal.

After the break, Chelsea came out looking sharper than their previous two games and had a positive start to their second half.
