The global group of specialists conducting a criminal investigation into the crash of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine in July 2014 is examining “several parts, possibly originating from a Buk surface-air-missile system”, the Dutch Safety Board...

They say the parts, possibly from a Buk surface-to-air system, are “of particular interest” and could help determine who was involved in the crash.

The debris has been passed to the Dutch Safety Board, which is carrying out the civilian investigation into the July 2014 crash.
