While Experian handles the personal information of many Americans, the bureau said the hack, which was discovered on September 15, is only limited to T-Mobile customers.
John Legere the CEO at T-Mobile said that he was angry over the data breach and will review its relationship with Experian but the top concerns first is focusing on assisting the consumers who were affected.
Experian claims no credit card information was taken in the breach and the only information taken were names, dates of birth, addresses, and Social Security numbers, as well as an alternative form of identification and other information.
