Police released few new details Monday into ballistic and gunshot residue test results three weeks into an investigation of the shooting death of Fox Lake Police Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz.

Saturday, an arrest warrant was issued for Battaglia for two counts of disorderly conduct (class 4 felonies). Deputies said Battaglia has called other law enforcement agencies and may have provided reporters covering the case with false tips as well.

“I think we’re getting closer to identifying somebody that we’re going to want to talk to”, he said.

The school is located at 1133 Main St., Antioch. “His initials were inscribed on the Bulldogs” helmets, his nickname on the cheerleaders’ ribbons and a sea of blue and black filled the stands.

Lurigio says that with the autopsy complete, the numbers of shots, kind of weapon and whether Lt. Gliniewicz died from his own gun – those are all known, but police are not saying.
