Zimbabwe has reportedly lifted a ban on hunting around the national park where Cecil the lion was killed.

Palmer has remained out of sight since the hunt drew global attention and criticism – and led to calls for his extradition to Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe’s Parks and Wildlife Management Authority said Monday that Seski was involved an allegedly illegal hunt in April, put on by a safari guide who was arrested for his role in it.

Major air carriers Delta, United and American Airlines announced on Monday that they will no longer accept freight shipments of lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros or buffalo hunting trophies.

Palmer has admitted to killing the lion but said he believed everything about the hunt was legal and that he was simply following the directions of his guides.

The authority said Seski killed the lion – without approval – with a bow and arrow on land where it was not allowed, near Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park, according to the Associated Press.

Two females also took a picture of themselves in front of the home after they erected a mini memorial to Cecil outside of it.

Johnny Rodrigues, a senior park official and head of the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, told CNN that a hunter illegally gunned down Jericho in Hwange National Park.

The holiday home of the US dentist who killed Zimbabwean favourite Cecil the Lion has been vandalised.

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines said Monday it has banned shipment of lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo trophies as freight.
