As police investigate Thursday’s mass shooting at a college in Oregon, neighbors are seeking answers of their own- even as they battle through enormous pain.

An official says the gunman who killed nine people at an Oregon community college left a “manifesto” that was a couple pages long.

Everyone in the classroom dropped to the ground.

Other neighbours told the Los Angeles Times that Harper-Mercer was a “loner”.

– Federal investigators recovered six weapons at the college and seven at Mercer’s apartment.
