Qatar has strongly condemned violating the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque by Israeli police and settlers, deeply deploring the constant aggressive practices by Israel in Jerusalem.

The Ethiopian immigrant, Avraham Mengistu, 29, crossed into Gaza last September through a broken fence on the Mediterranean coast marking the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel.

On Wednesday, during a rally in Gaza, Hamas leader Khaled Meshal alluded to Mengistu’s capture when speaking about Israelis now being held by the terror group, including the bodies of two IDF soldiers who were killed during last summer’s war.

Several hundred Israelis demonstrated in Jerusalem Wednesday evening, calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to act against a recent surge in deadly attacks carried out by Palestinians. The Israelis are offering reconstruction of Gaza in exchange of truce from Hamas in Gaza.
