Joey Chestnut won this year’s worldwide Federation of Competitive Eating event, Eating 54 hot dogs, while his biggest rival Takeru Kobayashi didn’t compete due to a contract dispute with Major League Eating.

Ex- champion Chestnut, nicknamed “Jaws”, is a San Jose, California product ranked the No. 1 Competitive Eater in the most recent worldwide Federation of Competitive Eating. Matt beat Joey Chestnut and all other challengers by eating 62 hot dogs in 10 minutes!
