Following all-night talks between the Red Cross branches of North and South Korea, both countries agreed on Tuesday to hold a reunion for families separated by the Korean War.

Twenty-one elderly people have died and 66 others suffered heat exhaustion after a heat-wave swept across Egypt. Four people were injured in Matrouh city and two more were injured in Qena, an Upper Egyptian city.

“We are trying to ascertain their whereabouts”, foreign ministry officials said.
