Days after the arrest of Pakistani militant in Udhampur, police picked up many youth who allegedly have helped the captured militant in carrying out attack on BSF convoy at Samruli Udhampur.

The militants hurled grenades and opened fire on the convoy when it reached Samroli near Udhampur on its way from Jammu to Srinagar.

He said that there were five infiltration attempts in a month, four of which were foiled and eight terrorists were neutralised.

This comes after 11 people were killed in the Gurdaspur terror attack which included 5 policemen and 3 civilians on Monday.

Sources said that the terrorists opened fire from a hillock along the highway and hurled grenades.
