Australia’s Sam Stosur has swept into the quarter-finals of the WTA event at Bad Gastein in Austria with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Klara Koukalova of the Czech Republic.

The Slovakian was broken twice in the opening set but won nine straight games from 3-2 in the second set.

There were five breaks of serve in a back-and-forth second set, but again Errani made the crucial break in game nine and took the victory on her second match point.
