Victor Cruz’s return to action took a detour today, when the wide receiver left the field during the period early in practice devoted to individual drills.

In a game where the Giants need all hands on deck it is good to get Cruz back. Cruz still has not gone through a real National Football League practice since injuring a calf muscle in mid-August.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin doesn’t know anything about current events at the moment because he’s avoiding all media.

The Giants are like a lot of the New York metropolitan area.
