Hunter Montgomery, the son of country duo Montgomery Gentry’s Eddie Montgomery, died Sunday after being removed from life support following an accident.
The 19-year-old son of country singer Eddie Montgomery, of Montgomery Gentry, has died. Hunter had spent many days on life support due to injuries he sustained in an accident that happened last week, according to Taste of Country.
A spokeswoman for Eddie Montgomery, one-half of the country duo Montgomery Gentry, says the singer has lost his 19-year-old son. Before his passing he was placed on life support at Kentucky Hospital.
The statement further said, “She lived a wonderful life and was adored by her family, friends and millions who she had been entertaining for over four decades”.
Initial photos and appeaances by Morgan prior to the Emmys showed him walking with the assistance of medical equipment but he took to the Microsoft Theater stage on his own, which he made mention of to more applause.
