Sunderland’s nightmare start to the 2015-16 Barclays Premier League campaign continued as they succumbed 3-1 to Norwich City at the Stadium of Light.

Even as French global midfielder Yann M’Vila was on his way to the Stadium of Light as the latest addition to Advocaat’s squad, albeit on loan, some perfectly loyal but level-headed Sunderland fans were still debating the prospects for beating the drop.

M’Vila becomes the fifth summer addition to Sunderland’s squad alongside Jeremain Lens, Younes Kaboul, Sebastian Coates and Adam Matthew.

Yann M’Vila says he has the right attributes to be a success in the Premier League after he completed a season-long move to Sunderland.

Somewhat out of the blue, Sunderland have completed the signing of France global midfielder Yann M’Vila on a season-long deal from Russian side Rubin Kazan.

M’Vila now plays his football with Rubin Kazan in Russian Federation, but a fall-out between him and the club means he spent last season on loan with Internazionale and was supposed to be joining Dynamo Moscow on a temporary basis for the coming campaign.
