TaiG iOS 8.4 Jailbreak For Mac OS X Now Available
Mac users will no longer have to install a Windows virtual machine on their PCs to jailbreak their iOS devices, as they can directly install the untethered jailbreak utility.
You can now download TaiG iOS 8.4 jailbreak tool for Mac OS X. Previously the tool was exclusive to Windows but is now available to those who are in the ownership of an OS X powered computer.
The tool can be used now on either Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows operating systems to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch device running one of the iOS versions mentioned above.
We’ll keep you covered on all things tweaks and Cydia as the iOS 8.4 TaiG jailbreak continues to mature; stay tuned. A reboot or two later, and your device will be jailbroken. To disable Find My iPhone, go to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone and turn it off. You’ll need to enter in your Apple ID password to confirm.
It’s also recommended that you disconnect your Apple Watch from your iPhone before going ahead with the jailbreak process. To disable your passcode, go to Settings > Passcode, enter your passcode, select Turn Passcode Off and enter in your passcode again to confirm. However, expect changes in subsequent updates from the team, that will make the process more stable, as seen in the Windows versions.
From there, fire up TaiG and plug in your iPhone or iPad. At the same time, these tools can also help you to jailbreak iOS 8.1.3, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3.
As a note, unless you’re a Chinese jailbreaker, you probably want to uncheck 3k Assistant when you jailbreak your device.
