Schuette, she said, is investigating “whether any MI laws were violated in the process that created the situation in Flint”.
The plan calls for four rounds of testing, each taking about two weeks, Creagh told the Detroit Free Press. The group that pushed to have Flint’s water tested in the first place says don’t send bottled water to Flint.
Creagh said he hoped “to be able to say something about the general health of the system come mid-April”, according to the paper.

Costs related to the lead-tainted water crisis in Flint, Michigan, could pressure the state’s finances and derail recent efforts to build budget reserves, Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services said on Monday.
In the MI city of about 100,000, a state-appointed emergency manager ordered that the city begin drawing its drinking water in 2014 from the Flint River and treating it at the city water treatment plant as a cost-saving move.
