Taylor Swift closes out U.S. 1989 tour with ‘Frozen’
“Frozen totally happened tonight”, Swift captioned a photo of the two on stage.
Taylor Swift celebrated Halloween with 55,000 people at her concert last night with a Frozen-inspired dress-up and sing-a-long.
“I don’t know if you noticed but we have a “Frozen” theme going on here”, Swift said. And because it was Halloween, both she and Taylor dressed accordingly. But Idina Menzel was definitely a great way to close out her tour, especially in costume on Halloween. “If only Idina Menzel were here”. It also happened to be the last show of the USA leg of Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour.
Take a look at the incredible “Let It Go” performance, captured by a fan, below.
“Thank you @taylorswift!” Menzel wrote on Instagram. The country/pop singer dressed up as Olaf in a white very-plum outfit while her special guest channeled Elsa.
“It’s a good thing she is, Tampa!”
There’s just something captivating about how Swift, somehow still only 25, has evolved over the past decade, and especially during this summer march across North America.
Menzel, 44, dressed as Elsa, her character from the film, while Swift, 25, dressed as Olaf, the snowman (and her dancers dressed as reindeer).
The animated adventure also picked up two Oscars including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Let It Go“.

Taylor will now head to Asia, before hitting Australia where the tour will finally come to an end in December.
