Anger and sympathy for the “Tik Tok” singer swelled after a NY judge ruled on Friday that Kesha, 28, could not be released from her recording contract with Sony Music despite filing a sexual assault lawsuit in 2014 against her producer and former mentor, Dr. Luke.

The lawyer for Dr. Luke released a statement on Monday blasting Kesha’s allegations as “unconvincing”, just days after the court rejected the pop singer’s request.

He pointed out that Kesha had previously sworn under oath that he did not rape or drug her, and shared an image of her testimony in the deposition.

Kesha herself has also expressed gratitude for the moral support – from Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson, among many others – she’s gotten in her case against Dr. Luke, a.k.a. Lukasz Gottwald. “I didn’t rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her”, he wrote in a series of tweets. “But lives can get ruined when there’s a rush to judgment before all the facts come out”.

According to the statement issued by Dr. Luke’s attorney, Sony Music has already spent over $11 million marketing the singer’s work and is committed in continuing to promote it.

Kesha has argued that she doesn’t want to record any new music with Dr Luke’s label, which is owned by Sony Music.

Taylor Swift made headlines over the weekend after it has been reported the star donated $250,000 to help Kesha out of her financial bind.

And most recently, Zedd along with Jack Antonoff have offered to help the singer make music when she’s able to.
