Taylor Swift Plus Lisa Kudrow Equals One EPIC Performance Of ‘Smelly Cat’

Taylor Swift is continuing in her quest to befriend every awesome woman that ever lived and last night it was the turn of Friends alum Lisa Kudrow. “To this day, if I called her, she would do the same thing, despite being one of the busiest people in the world”.

With acoustic guitar in hand, Swift introduced Kudrow as her fictional character, who appeared onstage to perform Buffay’s song “Smelly Cat” with the singer.

The 25-year-old singer pulled out all the stops for her five night run in LA’s Staples Centre inviting a huge host of famous faces on stage to dance duet and wow the crowds.

Remember Phoebe Buffay’s blockbuster song performed at the Central Perk coffee shop in Friends?

Well, now imagine Phoebe singing that a music concert, surrounded by hundred of screaming fans along with none other than pop star Taylor Swift! It’s a pretty genius way of internationalizing each performance during a tour – and it also happens to be rather fun for everyone else. “You have to really feel the lyrics”, Kudrow interrupted Swift mid-song, referencing to a classic “Friends” episode with guest star rocker Chrissie Hynde. In the wake of parading out an endless stream of VIP visitors amid her 1989 World Visit, Taylor drew out the serious canons: Justin Timberlake and close companion Selena Gomez. And next up Justin Timberlake hit the stage to sing Mirrors with Swifty.

Swift will tour Australia in December. Once on stage, Lisa Kudrow and Taylor Swift broke into a duet of Phoebe’s signature tune “Smelly Cat”. In 2008 the former *NSync star surprised a 19-year-old Swift during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
