Taylor Swift Reveals Her Next ‘1989’ Single
Taylor Swift has announced that Wildest Dreams will be her fifth single from her album 1989 and her fans have gone nuts. “Wildest Dreams”, she told her 61 million followers. It is also the 25-year old’s first pop album.
It sold 1.28 million copies in the first week of its released, later becoming the bestselling album of 2014, and was positively critiqued by heavyweight publications such as Rolling Stones, TIME and Pitchfork media. Previous “1989” singles “Style”, “Blank Space” and “Shake it Off” additionally reached #1 on each charts.
Neither Republic nor Taylor Swift has offered additional confirmation, but a formal label update on the new “1989” single-“Wildest Dreams” or not-is expected to arrive imminently.
“Teenage Dream” included the hit singles “California Gurls”, “Teenage Dream”, “Firework”, “E.T.’, and ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)’ as well as the track- ‘The One That Got Away”, which peaked at number three.
