A fan rushed the stage during Taylor Swift’s concert at Petco Park in San Diego on Saturday, but was thwarted by her fast-acting security guards.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the Ewing charged towards the 25-year-old beauty while she was performing “Style” and attempted to fight off her security in a bid to get closer to her.
The intruder was quickly tackled by security, and Taylor “didn’t respond beyond glancing his way”. “Ewing was booked for felony and misdemeanor battery, and obstruction”, TMZ reports. His bail is set at $35k.
Are you shocked that this happened at Taylor’s concert?
Back in April, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine was subject to a female fan’s desperate attempt to show him affection when she hopped the stage at the band’s Anaheim, California concert and aggressively threw her arms around him.
Last month, when Swifty’s tour hit Canada’s Rexall Place, she suffered another fan fright, when one enthusiastic crowd-goer made a decision to grab her ankle while she was belting out the epic “Bad Blood“.
