Taylor Swift to release concert video on Apple Music
Taylor Swift had a birthday treat for fans on Sunday, December 13, when she announced she was releasing a film version of her 1989 world tour via Apple Music. Swift, who wrote a critical Tumblr post in June about Apple’s initial decision to not pay artists during its free, three-month trial launch of Apple Music, said Apple contacted her about capturing one of her concerts for a special. “I have a little surprise for you”, along with a short video message introducing the upcoming film.
Fans can tune into Beats 1 radio on Apple Music to hear more about the tour at 9 AM Pacific, 12 PM Eastern on the Apple Music exclusive radio station.
Apple Music has attempted to position itself in the streaming-music market as the service the recording industry should want to be the victor.
Subscribers to the Apple Music service, which opened for business in June, will be able to watch the pop star performing live such hits as “Shake it Off”, “22” and “Bad Blood”. In August Apple is aiming to attract more listeners by offering its streaming service Apple Music free for three months.

Swift called the policy “shocking” and “disappointing” and threatened to withhold her blockbuster album “1989” from the streaming service.
