TCU’s 2016 Schedule Has Been Released

Even though Stidham (preceding his injury) and Johnson (who played a lot better than almost everyone – Briles excepted – had a right to anticipate) performed at a high level, they enjoyed the benefits of a strong running game, one which kept Oklahoma State’s defense off balance. All three programs are now contenders on the national scene.

Baylor went ahead on a 1-yard run by Devin Chafin, and a short field goal put the Bears up 24-14 at halftime. The Bears visit the Horned Frogs in what figures to be a classic Big 12 shootout this Friday night. Now the Sooners head to Stillwater for Bedlam. The Big 12 title still runs through Stillwater, as only OU controls their own destiny.

Last week, No. 5 Baylor notched wins over No. 17 South Florida and No. 19 DePaul en route to the Preseason WNIT championship.

What was once a predictable race has turned into a more balanced scramble to the top. Iowa doesn’t have the resume of a few of the other top teams with only one win against a ranked opponent, so suffering a loss would likely would knock them out of the hunt, even at 12-1.

This does not make for another “61-58”, at least not in the same sense of its playoff relevancy from last season.
